About the job
The Eurofin Group is seeking a Vice President – level Investment Banking professional to join our team in London. Applicants must possess a strong background in the Investment Banking and / or Financial Advisory industries, with experience executing transactions in M&A and capital raising.
The successful candidate will be joining our London team within a global organization and will be responsible for assisting clients (primarily in the Maritime Industry) in raising capital and providing strategic advisory services for mergers, acquisitions and other types of financial transactions.
Responsibilities
- Review and analyze financial information
- Develop detailed financial models for M&A, Debt Advisory, Restructuring and Capital Raising purposes
- Conduct company valuation, implementing both intrinsic and market-based valuation approaches for live or contemplated transactions
- Prepare pitch materials, information memoranda, investor and management presentations and coordinate with team members assigned to projects
- Interact with client management teams, outside professional advisors and team members, on a daily basis, to execute transactions and discuss strategic alternatives on M&A and special situation transactions
- Assume significant levels of responsibility for the various phases of project and transaction execution, new business development and overall growth of the firm
- Attend client meetings with senior members of the team
Qualifications
- Minimum 6/7 years of experience in Investment Banking or Financial Advisory
- Experience in Shipping or Infrastructure sectors would be positively considered but not a requirement
- Experience working in a larger investment bank to be viewed upon favorably
- Minimum Bachelor’s Degree
- Excellent analytical, modelling, market research and quantitative skills
- Detail-oriented and focus on quality results and deliverables
- Team player, with strong communication and organizational skills, and ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based environment with minimal supervision
- Ability to organize and track overlapping tasks and assignments, with frequent priority changes
- Proficient English speaker with preferably one more European language
- Hard-worker, self-motivated, interacting with integrity
